Send Nysa to a call from your calendar

Send the notetaker to a meeting with one click, spot invitations you haven’t answered yet, and know that private facts stay private when Nysa tidies up duplicate people.

New

  • Send Nysa now: open any meeting in the calendar and send the notetaker to the call right away. The button sits next to the meeting’s recording status.
  • Invitations you haven’t accepted yet are outlined on your calendar, with a link to respond in Google Calendar.

Improvements

  • When Nysa merges two records of the same person, each fact keeps its most restricted visibility. A private or HR-scoped fact never becomes visible to the whole team through a merge.
  • Long notes that mention many new people and companies are processed in full instead of being partly dropped. Forgetting such a note also removes everything it added.
  • Searches and background processing do less database work, so the brain stays responsive while large imports and inbox syncs run.

Fixes

  • The calendar no longer fails to load recording status for some Google Calendar events.

Faster brain imports and smoother invites

Big brain imports finish sooner, new teammates’ email reaches the brain faster, API keys explain themselves, and teammates with an existing Nysa account can join a second workspace.

Improvements

  • Large brain imports process people and companies first, so the most important pages land before the long tail of notes.
  • Imports no longer stall when many pages arrive at once; they share capacity with everyday processing instead of waiting behind it.
  • Recent email from a newly connected inbox is extracted right away instead of after a quiet period, so new teammates show up in the brain sooner.
  • The API keys page explains that each key is a fine-grained access token you can limit to chosen projects or scopes.

Fixes

  • Teammates who already have a Nysa company account can accept an invitation to another workspace.
  • The notetaker joins Google Meet calls you’re invited to, even when you can’t edit the organizer’s calendar.
  • Meet links on project knowledge chips open the right meeting.
  • A slow calendar sync can no longer overwrite a newer version of the same event.

Transcript webhooks now say who was in the meeting

Your integrations no longer have to guess who attended a call, the notetaker is more reliable about joining and staying, and onboarding recovers if you leave halfway through.

New

  • Transcript webhooks include the meeting’s calendar attendees.
  • Speakers in the transcript are linked to attendees when their names match exactly.

Improvements

  • When you add Nysa to a meeting that’s already started by inviting it from Google Calendar, the notetaker joins the ongoing call.
  • If you leave onboarding while Gmail is connecting, your progress and Brain consent are restored when you come back.
  • Changing an event that was already cancelled in Google no longer fails with an error.

Fixes

  • The notetaker no longer leaves a call when calendar sync runs past the late-join window.
  • Opening an approval link that no longer exists shows a clear not-found page instead of an error.

Sign up with any Google account

Anyone with a verified Google account can start a Nysa workspace, calendar suggestions get smarter, and Claude and ChatGPT show friendlier names for every Nysa tool.

New

  • Sign up with any verified Google account. Recovery screens explain what to do if sign-in fails.
  • Every Nysa tool has a readable display name, so Claude and ChatGPT show names like “Search company brain” instead of a code name when they ask for permission.

Improvements

  • Calendar guest suggestions are ranked by who you’ve emailed in the last 90 days.
  • Guest suggestions only include people from your own email domain, so outside contacts don’t crowd the list.
  • Teammate availability is hidden for personal Google accounts, which have no company directory to search.
  • When a paused subscription resumes, the notetaker is booked again for your upcoming meetings.
  • Background processing retries brief database hiccups instead of failing the job.

Fixes

  • Calls where nobody spoke are labeled as empty instead of “Didn’t record”.
  • On shared calls, the notetaker follows the organizer’s meeting time, so it no longer joins at a stale time after the meeting moves.

Faster Gmail import and fewer missed calls

Your Gmail history imports as fast as Google allows, new mail arrives reliably, the brain picks up more of the people and companies your team talks about, and several notetaker gaps are closed.

Improvements

  • Gmail import paces itself to Google’s real per-mailbox limit and reads more messages at a time, so big inboxes finish importing sooner.
  • New email keeps flowing while an old inbox is still importing; live updates are no longer stuck behind the backlog.
  • The brain discovers the people and companies mentioned in your meetings and email, so more of who your team talks about ends up in the brain.
  • Webhook deliveries have a Retry button for failed deliveries.
  • Recording status chips use clearer colors, including a distinct one for calls with no speech.

Fixes

  • Gmail push notifications are no longer silently dropped, so new mail shows up without waiting for the next full sync.
  • Calls that start and end before their scheduled time are captured and transcribed.
  • When a teammate has access to the organizer’s calendar, their calendar no longer removes the notetaker from the meeting.
  • One malformed meeting no longer stops the whole Meetings list from loading.
  • The Past meetings list loads again for meetings captured with a warning.

See when your teammates are free

Scheduling inside Nysa got easier: overlay your teammates’ availability, create and move repeating events, and understand exactly why a meeting will or won’t be recorded.

New

  • Teammate availability: add teammates to your calendar view and see when they’re busy, side by side with your own events.
  • Repeating events: create repeating events from the New event drawer.

Improvements

  • Teammate search on the calendar works better, and calendar rows are more compact.
  • Move repeating events, and drag events across weeks.
  • Splitting a repeating series keeps its Meet link.
  • Future meetings organized by someone outside your team show as scheduled, so you know the notetaker is planned for them.
  • A scheduled meeting you can’t control explains why, and who can change it.
  • The organizer controls recording. When a meeting won’t be recorded, Nysa says why, and a declined recording is named as declined instead of a failure.

Fixes

  • Removing a repeating event asks which occurrences to remove.
  • A background refresh no longer snaps an event you just moved back to its old time.
  • Editing a repeating event keeps it repeating.
  • Teammate search no longer shows the same person twice when they have several Google email aliases.
  • Failed notetaker invitations are shown as failures instead of being treated as removals.

The company brain, and a calmer meetings list

The first version of the company brain is here, meetings can be shared with exactly the right people, and the meetings list shows one clear card per meeting.

New

  • Company brain: meetings and email become facts with sources, organized into pages, and chat answers cite where each fact came from.
  • Share a meeting with specific people, including people outside your workspace, who get an emailed link that lasts 90 days. Only attendees and the people you share with can open a meeting.

Improvements

  • Each meeting shows as one compact card, even when several teammates had it on their calendars or the notetaker was rescheduled.
  • Meetings that are live or still processing show their full details.
  • Long recordings preload, so playback starts without a wait even for multi-hour calls.
  • Past meetings page smoothly, and thumbnails no longer jump while the list loads.
  • The attendee list stays on a meeting after it’s captured.
  • Pages load as one frame instead of filling in piece by piece.

Fixes

  • When nobody lets the notetaker into a call, the meeting says Not admitted instead of a generic failure.
  • Recordings that were lost are told apart from calls the notetaker never recorded.
  • Shared meetings play correctly for people outside the call.
  • Upcoming meetings page correctly again.
